APPOINTMENT: NHN QUALITY IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR: SUSETH GOOSEN

Suseth Goosen has commenced services with NHN on the 3rd October 2016.

Suseth’s career started in Bloemfontein at the University of the Free State with a B.Soc.SC Nursing Degree.  After her basic training she enrolled as a fresh registered nurse in the surgical department which shaped her into the nurse she is today.  Moving back home to Alberton she became a neonatal nurse.  Here she also completed her Master’s degree in Child health at the Rand Afrikaanse University.  A short period working in the United Kingdom, changed her career direction to Management and Education.

She worked as a Quality Manager for a hospital group followed by training of neonatal nurses and later basic nursing students, in theory and practice.  This paved her career path working as a Nursing Manager for a company managing health facility contracts, of which she formed part of the project team building hospitals.  Suseth has come full circle back to Quality Management.

We welcome Suseth Goosen at NHN as Quality Improvement Coordinator, and we are confident that her expertise and experience will be valuable to the NHN Hospitals.
